Sik-E-Dakh, also known as Glen Vowell, is a proud Gitxsan community located in the picturesque Skeena Country of northwestern British Columbia. Nestled west of the Skeena River, between Hazelton and Kispiox, Sik-E-Dakh reflects its Gitxsanimx name, meaning "Bright Lights Behind Mountain."
Our language, Gitxsanimx, is central to our identity and heritage, and we are committed to preserving and revitalizing it for future generations.
