Income Assistance Program
The main objective of Income Assistance Program is to enhance the quality of life by reducing poverty on-reserve and increasing workforce participation among program participants.
The program offers financial support to eligible individuals and families residing on-reserve.
To qualify, applicants must provide one photo ID, one non-photo ID, and a copy of their income tax notice of assessment.
You can print the Social Assistance Application Packages below and submit them directly to the Sik-E-Dakh band office. Please note that forms sent via email will not be accepted. To initiate the process, the forms must be submitted in person. Social assistance renewal forms can also be downloaded and printed, but they must be handed in to the band office for processing. Renewals sent by email will not be accepted.
Friendly Reminder that monthly renewals are due by the 15th of each month To avoid any late payments please ensure that you fill them out on time.

BC Hydro Bills also need to be brought in on a monthly basis. No bill equals no payment and may result in disconnection.

We will be offering more Programs coming up in the fall and all eligible clients will be sent a letter when it is recommended that they take part.
